The Role: Junior ManagerAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the firms Darlington office as a Junior Manager. This is a mixed role, covering both accounts and audit, and includes managing your own portfolio of clients while supporting the wider team.
Working alongside two other managers, you will share responsibility for workflow planning, staff supervision, and client communication. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in public practice who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of clients across accounts, audit, and tax
Collaborate with fellow managers to plan, oversee, and deliver assignments
Review and supervise the work of junior team members
Act as a key point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
Ensure all deadlines and budgets are met within your portfolio
Support the development of internal processes and team growth
Identify opportunities to enhance services and support client success
Private practice experience (PP) is essential
ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
Strong background in both accounts preparation and audit
Experience supervising or reviewing junior staff
Confident managing client relationships independently
Organised, proactive, and an effective communicator
