The Role:
We are looking for a skilledFabric Technicianto join a leadingFacilities Managementcompany, working on a prestigious sites in Darlington and Sedgefield. This role offers aMonday to Fridayschedule with excellent benefits and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric and finishes

Performing basic carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, and minor plumbing tasks

Conducting door repairs, ceiling tile replacements, and general handyman duties

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures

Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain high service delivery standards

Assisting other engineers and supporting the wider maintenance team
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in aFabric EngineerorMaintenance Technicianrole within commercial buildings

Strong knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general building repairs
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
