HGV Class 2 Driver -3 days a week

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilledHGV Class 2 driverwith 12 months minimum commercial driving experience. The ideal candidate would hold a C Category licence for over 12 months with a valid, in date Digital tachograph card and CPC Card.

This is a Part time, temporary, on going contract. Monday/Wednesday/Friday most weeks

Trunking ad hoc to Gloucester area fromDartford, Kent. 8-10 hours a day commencing at 05:00 start

Responsibilities
- Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks
- Load and unload goods securely, ensuring they are transported without damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during operations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.
