About the Role
Youll be at the heart of quality and compliance, leading initiatives that maximise product returns, manage stock effectively, and uphold industry-leading standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams across Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Sales, youll ensure that product delivery consistently meets customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage quality control across production and dispatch
Lead shelf life benchmarking and data analysis
Collaborate with technical and operational teams on quality performance
Implement and monitor packhouse grading and product rotation
Mentor and supervise the QRC team, ensuring effective resource utilisation
Contribute to microbiological and pesticide residue testing protocols
Support customer, grower, and third-party audits and visits
Drive training initiatives across production and quality teams
Champion health & safety procedures as part of the management system
What Youll Bring:
Experience in a fresh produce quality role
Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft D365 is a plus
Solid knowledge of ERP systems and implementations
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressure
Clear communication style and collaborative leadership approach
A hands-on attitude with a strong customer service ethic
