Inventory Manager – Hybrid Working

About the Role

A growing, family-run business with ambitious plans for expansion is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee stock management processes, ensuring optimal inventory levels and seamless collaboration with a Global Supply Chain team.

In this key role, you will be responsible for demand forecasting, stock accuracy, supplier coordination, and inventory reporting while leading a Supply Chain Analyst. You will work closely with sales, operations, and quality teams to maintain accurate forecasts and ensure smooth inbound deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory & Demand Planning – Develop accurate forecasts using sales trends, market data, and supplier insights.

  • Stock Control – Ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.

  • Supplier Coordination – Work with the Global Supply Chain team to align stock orders with lead times and safety stock levels.

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) – Lead monthly meetings to align supply and demand strategies.

  • Reporting & Forecast Accuracy – Monitor forecast performance, adjust methodologies, and drive continuous improvement.

  • 3PL & Supplier Liaison – Act as the key contact for logistics providers and manage relationships with suppliers.

  • Quality & Compliance – Collaborate with Quality Assurance on product returns, recalls, and quarantine stock management.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Supply Chain / Inventory Management experience – ideally in pharma or FMCG.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting & demand planning.

  • Ability to manage stock integrity across internal systems & 3PL providers.

  • A confident communicator who can collaborate across global teams.

  • Someone adaptable and proactive, able to develop new processes and controls.
