Are you a commercially astute packaging professional with a passion for innovation and precision? Our client — a leading food manufacturer and retailer — is seeking a dynamic Packaging Project Manager to join their team on a part-time job share basis.
This is a high-impact role supporting the delivery of packaging solutions across a diverse product portfolio, with a strong focus on NPD and retailer critical path management.
 Key Responsibilities:

Lead packaging development projects from concept to launch across chilled, ambient, and frozen categories

Collaborate cross-functionally with NPD, technical, and commercial teams to ensure packaging aligns with product and brand strategy

Manage critical path timelines and retailer expectations, ensuring all milestones are met

Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver packaging that meets sustainability, cost, and performance targets

Support artwork approval, compliance checks, and shelf-life trials as needed
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in packaging project management within food manufacturing or retail

Strong understanding of NPD processes and critical path delivery

Experience working with major UK retailers (e.g. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Waitrose)

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
