- Develop, implement, and review H&S policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with relevant H&S legislation and industry standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing reports and recommendations.
- Deliver H&S training to employees and management.
- Collaborate with different departments to promote a safe working environment.
- Keep up to date with new H&S regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain records of inspections, audits, and safety compliance reports.
- Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
- Support the development of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- [Degree/Diploma] in Occupational H&S, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- [NEBOSH/IOSH/] certification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience in a H&S advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and ability to work with multiple contractors.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
- Experience in large scale industrial construction.
- Ability to work with contractors and other key members of staff.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.
- Up to date CSCS card.
