We are looking forPipe Fitters to work at our new digital centre of manufacturing excellence in Deeside.

This role will be responsible for carrying out Pipe Fitting tasks in the manufacture stainless-steel pipe spools and carbon steel pipe support structures. To provide expert pipe fitting services within the UK Nuclear New Build Industry, ensuring all tasks align with required industry standards, company specific QHSE procedures, and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the fit up and tack welding of pipe spools, including prefabrication to the highest standards set by the nuclear industry

Working to a high level of standards within the Nuclear sector

Report all anomalies, safety hazards and specific problems to the Team Leader before proceeding further;

Fully comply site health, safety, environmental and quality procedures including site rules and notices;

Assist with the training of others where competency in trade allows;

To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role;

Qualifications and Experience

Excellent welding practices using TIG

Previous welding work experience within a highly regulated industry, ideally nuclear

Ideally, hold a recognised apprenticeship in Welding or level 3 diploma in Welding Engineering Construction Pipework OR qualified via demonstrable previous experience

  • Ability to read and understanding drawings
