This is a truly values-led business that puts people first and plays a vital role in supporting individuals across its support services. You'll be stepping into a senior standalone HR role with the opportunity to lead the people strategy and drive meaningful cultural change.The Role:As HR Manager, you'll report directly into the Head of Support Services and be responsible for designing and implementing a progressive HR strategy aligned with the organisation's wider goals. This is a generalist role with real breadth - you'll manage employee relations, oversee recruitment, develop HR policies, coach managers, and lead on workforce data reporting and analysis.You'll also line manage the Recruitment team and work closely with senior leaders and managers across the business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, whistleblowing, and performance.
  • Coach and support managers to handle ER issues in a fair, compliant, and consistent way.
  • Regularly review and develop HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • Oversee and drive recruitment strategies that are efficient, compliant, and aligned to workforce planning.
  • Produce and present data reports and insights on key people metrics.
  • Deliver HR training to managers across the organisation, including employment law and internal processes.
  • Partner with senior leadership to influence organisational culture and performance.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation.

About You:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or above) and strong generalist HR experience.
  • Confident in handling complex ER issues and in coaching managers at all levels.
  • Experience leading a small HR or recruitment team.
  • Passionate about driving continuous improvement and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong IT and data reporting skills - confident with Excel, HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Personable, proactive, and highly organised - with a real ability to work autonomously.
