Sales Account Manager

Job Role

This is not a traditional sales role, there is no cold calling or hard selling instead, you will focus on managing incoming enquiries, building customer relationships, producing quotations and following up to close business.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming sales enquiries, providing technical support, quoting, account management and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.

The ideal candidate will have a background working within a Pump Manufacturer or Pump Distribution.

Job Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients and prospects via email and telephone to understand their requirements and build strong relationships
  • Identify and assess technical and application specific needs to provide accurate, value driven pump solutions
  • Prepare and deliver timely, competitive quotations through both phone and emails
  • Develop and send tailored proposals aligned with customer specifications and project goals
  • Work closely with suppliers to obtain accurate pricing, lead times and product information
  • Handle and resolve technical enquiries promptly via phone and email, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Follow up proactively on open quotations to progress opportunities and close sales
  • Accurately process customer orders and generate corresponding purchase orders using Sage 200 ERP system
