- A wealth of experience of working as Head of Sales / Head of Business Development / Sales Director specifically within the Apprenticeship landscape.
- Demonstrate a ‘hands on’ approach to business growth, with a proven track record of achieving / exceeding targets for the uptake of Apprenticeships
- Proven experience of securing new Levy and SME employer accounts for the delivery of Apprenticeships.
- Must hold a full, UK driving licence, and flexible with travel.
- Identify and build strategic relationships with key Large Levy employers, to promote our client's full range of training programmes: Apprenticeships and Commercial provision.
- Responsible for managing a business development team, performance managing and ensuring the team is actively driving Apprentice starts.
- Engage with employers to discuss their training and recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentice recruitment.
- Give advice and support to employers regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms.
- Produce and deliver business growth propositions / presentations at senior level.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes.
- Forecast and plan for growth and industry changes.
- Maintaining own knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations.
- Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis to senior management.
