Marketing Product Manager - Derby 3 Days per week in office

We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Lead Marketing Product Manager to spearhead go-to-market initiatives, drive product adoption, and translate complex product capabilities into compelling messaging. In this cross-functional leadership role, you will serve as the linchpin between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success-owning product positioning, competitive analysis, and launch strategies across key solutions or product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy:Lead cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) plans for new product launches, feature releases, and strategic campaigns. Ensure alignment between product development and customer-facing teams.
  • Positioning & Messaging:Craft differentiated messaging frameworks and positioning strategies that clearly articulate the value of the product to target audiences.
  • Customer & Market Insights:Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to inform strategy and positioning. Act as the voice of the customer within product and marketing teams.
  • Sales Enablement:Develop sales enablement materials including pitch decks, battlecards, product sheets, and demo scripts. Train sales and customer success teams on product positioning and use cases.
  • Lifecycle Marketing:Partner with demand generation, content, and digital teams to build and optimize product-led marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Product Strategy Collaboration:Collaborate closely with Product Management to influence the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
  • Performance Measurement:Define and track KPIs for product marketing performance, including launch success metrics, adoption rates, pipeline influence, and campaign ROI.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related roles in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Proven success in leading GTM strategy for complex products or platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing funnel and experience supporting demand generation and sales enablement.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with a knack for simplifying technical concepts.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven with experience using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, HubSpot, or Google Analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA a plus.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Financial services, insurance, pensions, legal advice.
  • Background working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with agile product development cycles and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
