We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team within Vistry Services, based at either our Wolverhampton or Castle Donington office. As our Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the consolidation and review of weekly, monthly, and annual management reports. This is a front-end role liaising closely with regions to ensure timely and accurate information is presented to the Divisional board and group team.

  • More about the Finance Manager role...
    • Review and consolidation of management accounts and supporting commentary on a monthly basis.
    • Maintaining and updating the WIP summary, challenging assumptions and calculating the month end WIP number for inclusion in the management accounts.
    • Reconciling project gross profit to management accounts gross profit, verifying reconciling items.
    • Provide support to the Divisional Finance Director in production of board packs and analysis
    • Business Partner with Regional Finance teams.
    • Ensuring integrity of data on COINS and Anaplan.
    • Monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure appropriate and supportable balances are held in line with our accounting policies.
    • Keep up to date with changes in accounting policies and processes, ensuring these are picked up and understood by the Regional Finance teams.
    • Working with the Divisional finance to ensure actuals and forecasts are aligned
    • Updating the sales forecast on a monthly basis and reviewing with senior management.
    • Prepare Working Day 1 flash reports to Division and Group
    • Challenging management and identifying areas for investigation.
    • Improving systems and procedures.
    • Preparation of schedules for statutory audit.
    • Work closely with the Finance teams to ensure integrity of the accounting system.
    • Work closely with the Divisional team in preparing ad-hoc management reports as required.
    • Liaise with and help lead reporting initiatives with the Divisional Finance Director.
