Long Term Futures are recruiting for our partnered provision that supports students facing significant barriers to learning due to medical, emotional, or social challenges.


About the Role
This full-time, term-time position is perfect for someone experienced in supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will work as part of a dedicated team, helping pupils to re-engage with their learning, build confidence, and realise their full potential.


Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
* Work alongside teaching staff to implement strategies that support emotional regulation and personal development
* Help create a calm, nurturing environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and wellbeing
* Support students in developing vital social skills and strategies to overcome challenges
* Liaise with families and external agencies to provide cohesive, wraparound support


What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working with young people who face emotional or behavioural challenges
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive, trusting relationships
* A flexible, proactive approach and a commitment to inclusive education
* Relevant training or qualifications in youth work, behaviour support or mental health (desirable but not essential)
