The position is for a Manufacturing Engineer - Dimensional on a 12-month contract basis in Derby.
The salary offered is £49.50 per hour, depending on experience, and is paid through an umbrella company.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support for various measurement processes and conducting Measurement System Analysis studies.
Candidates should have previous experience in manufacturing or process engineering and possess analytical problem-solving skills, preferably with knowledge of six-sigma or lean techniques.

Manufacturing Engineer - Dimensional - Initial12 month contract

Salary: £49.50 DOE (Umbrella)

Location: Derby

As a Manufacturing Engineer Dimensional you will be doing:

Day to day technical support, covering the following processes: Computer Tomography, CMM, Ultrasonic, Comparator Gauges and Caliper Gauges.
Measurement System Analysis studies (Gauge R&R) to validate changes to the measurement system
Lead improvement activities in the dimensional cell to aid cost savings, cell capacity increase, quicker data access, improved data integrity

Experience and skillset - Manufacturing Engineer Dimensional

Previous experience in a manufacturing engineering and / or process engineering
Analytical and problem-solving knowledge (six-sigma / lean techniques)
Comfortable presenting data at all levels
Previous experience in Measurement Systems or an interest in developing professionally in that area.
