Start: Flexible - we'll work around youLooking for a role where no two projects are the same?Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a building services contractor delivering a wide range of UK-wide projects - from schools and universities to leisure centres, warehouses, and decarbonisation schemes.
What you'll be doing:
- Full HVAC design - from estimation to Stage 5
- Collaborate with estimators to develop concepts into detailed designs
- Attend client, pre-construction, and design meetings
- Issue designs to clients and construction teams
- Work on projects up to £2m in value
- Engage with a wide range of sectors - no pigeonholing here!
What we're looking for:
- Strong experience in mechanical building services design (HVAC, plumbing, drainage)
- Client-facing and confident in meetings
- CAD/Revit experience is a bonus, not a must.
- Comfortable working in-office (1 day WFH possible)
- No formal qualifications required - experience speaks louder
