Aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Senior/Lead Buyer to join their growing organization on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate should have experience in a similar buyer position within the manufacturing industry.
The role includes managing suppliers, purchasing raw materials, and mentoring two buyers for their professional development.
The salary for this position is dependent on experience, and the company offers various benefits including a pension and bonus scheme.
Candidates are expected to have strong communication skills and attention to detail, with a preference for those who have previously worked in manufacturing.

Effective day to day management of designated suppliers
Purchase a range of raw materials and components and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Lead monthly order book reviews with suppliers to identify performance improvements, supplier risks and mitigation plans.
Mentor and support 2 Buyers for their own professional development

Well versed carrying out a similar buyer position
Accomplished purchasing a range of components and/or raw materials
Experienced working within the manufacturing industry
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
