Monday - Thursday 6am 2pm Friday 6am 1pm
Monday Thursday 2pm 10pm Friday 9am 4pm
Orion is currently working with a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Derby, We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their friendly team and work hands-on in a FMCG environment.
Sheet Metal Worker Responsibilities:
- Working with materials such as Titanium, stinless steel, Jethete, Nominics etc..
- Working to fine gauges 0.7mm to 1.6mm
- Working from drawings
- Riveting and sealing
- Assemble fabricated and machined parts
Sheet Metal Worker Experience:
- Working with materials such as Titanium, stainless steel, Jethete, Nominics etc..
- Using hand tools to cut bend and straighten sheet metal
- Shaping metal over blocks using hammers
- Inspecting assembling and smoothing seams and joints of welded surfaces
- Work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of working in a high volume fast paced manufacturing environment
- To be able to follow a work list to achieve high productivity
Sheet Metal Worker Qualifications:
- City and Guilds
- Level 3 qualified in welding and fabricaton
