A college in Derby is seeking a part-time, temporary Barbering Lecturer / Assessor to join their team. The role involves training students to meet awarding body specifications and industry expectations, assessing students accurately, and delivering practical knowledge to Level 2 students for 18 hours per week across 3 days.
Day-to-day of the role:- Train students in barbering to meet both awarding body specifications and industry expectations.
- Assess students' work accurately and provide constructive feedback.
- Deliver practical and theoretical knowledge effectively to Level 2 students.
- Ensure compliance with college standards and industry regulations.
- Level 2 or higher qualification in Barbering.
- Assessor's qualification.
- Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to start the role ASAP.
- DBS on the update service is preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate including holiday pay.
