Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and procedures aligned with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with EHS requirements.
  • Deliver training and ongoing support to employees on best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and accidents, producing detailed reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on EHS performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with management to foster a proactive culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and legislative changes impacting EHS.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent recognised EHS qualification.
  • Proven experience in an EHS role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of UK EHS legislation and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Skilled in data analysis and report preparation for management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
