Reed HR is excited to partner with a leading multi-discipline consultancy firm who are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join their HR Team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to make a significant impact in various HR functions.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Assist with preparing and uploading job adverts, liaising with recruitment agencies.
    • Manage applications and schedule interviews.
    • Support pre-employment forms, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
    • Coordinate new starter inductions.
  • HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate employee records, databases, and HR systems.
    • Prepare contracts, letters, and documentation as needed.
    • Process changes to employment (e.g., promotions, role changes, leavers).
    • Monitor and record employee absence, holidays, and sickness.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:

    • Provide first-line HR advice to staff on basic policies and procedures.
    • Support employee engagement activities and wellbeing initiatives.
    • Coordinate internal appraisal system.
  • Payroll & Benefits:

    • Collate and submit monthly payroll changes to the external payroll provider portal.
    • Assist with benefit administration.
  • Compliance & Policies:

    • Help ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role.
  • Strong coordination skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • CIPD Level 3 certified.
