About the Role:

As a Logistics Admin, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Logistics Team Leader and the wider Logistics team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Expediting Supplier Deliveries: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.
  • Reporting: Perform both ad hoc and scheduled reporting on various aspects of the operation.
  • Communication: Liaise with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and internal teams to guarantee smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place and monitor orders with external suppliers, ensuring that materials meet operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure deliveries are received on time and in full, escalating any issues as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking of material movements with third-party logistics providers.
  • Support management in achieving business objectives while adhering to best practises.
  • Contribute to measuring departmental/team performance to meet high individual and team objectives.
  • Compile information from stakeholders into regular reports to support the management team.
  • Stay informed about relevant policies and procedures.

Who You Are:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a customer-focused environment.
