  • Install, test, and commission nurse call and fire alarm systems in acute hospital and custodial settings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control hardware, wiring, and programming to meet design specifications.
  • Lead commissioning activities and supervise subcontractor resources on-site.
  • Carry out small works engineering from survey through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Support programme development, scheduling, and milestone planning to ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in technical discussions and site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, designers. Contractors / sub-contractors, and project teams.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality commissioning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement commissioning procedures, processes, and tools for consistency and improvement.
  • Review engineering deliverables to confirm compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, including timesheets, work/service reports, expenses, and site records.
  • Maintain company equipment in proper working order (tools, PPE, ladders, vehicle).
Commissioning Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Practical electrical installation skills, including containment, cabling, and bedhead trunking.
  • Knowledge of electrical and communication systems
  • Experience in a field-based role (Full UK Driver’s License)
