Are you an experienced Payroll Manager looking for a leadership role in a dynamic environment? Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a skilled Payroll professional to lead a small team and manage the end-to-end UK payroll operation for a choice employer based in Doncaster area.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager will include:

  • Managing the full UK payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Leading, developing, and motivating a small payroll team
  • Collaborating with finance, employment tax, and HR teams for seamless operations
  • Overseeing payroll-related projects, including process improvements and system upgrades
  • Handling payroll queries, including those related to international payroll and overseas assignments
  • Managing third-party relationships with payroll vendors and service providers
  • Taking ownership of annual reporting requirements such as Gender Pay Gap and Directors’ Reporting Requirements (DRR)

Key Skills & Experience required:

  • CIPP qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a Payroll Manager or Payroll Leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance
  • Experience managing international payrolls, including shadow payrolls
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities
