Your new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working with a well established group of companies to support their payroll transition project.We are looking to speak with immediately available or short notice payroll specialists who are ready for their next challenge! Your new role

  • Deliver accurate and timely payroll services across weekly and monthly cycles.
  • Support payroll system transitions and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Handle statutory and occupational payments, deductions, and benefit administration.
  • Provide expert guidance on payroll, PAYE, pensions, and employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
  • Respond to queries related to time and attendance data.
  • Assist with annual pay reviews, bonus processing, and P11D reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll documentation and support continuous service enhancements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll and pension regulations.
  • Experience with payroll systems, and Excel.
  • Problem-solving mindset and organisational awareness.
  • Clear communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience in payroll transition projects.
