Residential Care Officer - Part-Time

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people? Doncaster Council is expanding its residential services and seeking committed Residential Care Officer - Part-Time professionals to join our Good and Outstanding-rated homes.

As a Residential Care Officer - Part-Time, you'll work 21 hours/week on a rota with 2 weekends off every 4 weeks. Sleep-in shifts (approx. 4/month) add 2,000/year. With overtime paid at time and a quarter and South Yorkshire Pension contributions, your total package is highly competitive.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide consistent, compassionate care for looked-after children
  • Support emotional, social, and physical development
  • Work therapeutically with children with complex behaviours
  • Collaborate with managers and senior care officers
  • Complete QCF Level 3 and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training

Shift Details:

  • 10pm-7am shifts
  • 9 days off per 4-week rota
