Vehicle Spray Painter - Commercial Vans

Location: Doncaster

Permanent, 4 day working week, company is moving to a new site in the near future, full order book, OT available at premium rate


We are currently working with a Vehicle Manufacturer based in Doncaster, who are seeking a skilled and professional Vehicle Spray Painter to join their growing team, specialising in the preparation and refinishing of commercial vans. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in automotive paintwork who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes on time and to specification.

As a Vehicle Spray Painter, you will play a key role in supporting our production output and upholding the high standards our clients expect.

Key Duties of the Vehicle Spray Painter:

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint application, including thorough cleaning, sanding, and masking
  • Mix paint materials accurately to match colour and texture specifications using two-pack paint systems
  • Apply paint using spray guns and appropriate techniques, ensuring an even, high-quality finish
  • Monitor drying times and make adjustments in line with technical requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workspace, including spray equipment upkeep
  • Experience with Speed Lining or similar protective coatings is highly advantageous

What we need from you for the Vehicle Spray Painter role:

  • Demonstrable experience in commercial vehicle painting, bodyshop work, or SMART repairs
  • Sound knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques
  • Proficient in the use of spray guns and workshop paint systems
