Our client is a well-established and successful company. They are looking for an experienced Fitter / Welder to join their team.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Accuracy in all tasks and measurements and a high grade of work.
- Be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used especially the welding equipment. Must be able to adjust the welding machines as required.
- Be able to use Chop Saws, and have knowledge of health and safety regarding all saws and guillotines.
- Be able to follow and understand technical drawings.
- Aluminium welding/TIG welding would be an advantage.
- Background in welding and fabrication is required.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience
- 4 day working week Monday to Thursday 06.30 - 17.00

Responsibilities:
- Fitting, welding and fabrication of vehicles (chassis, cages, trailers, storage
- Additional related tasks for the manufacturing plant (mild steel).
- General upkeep of the workshop area and premises.
- Ad hoc duties as and when required.
Previous job titles could have been; Vehicle Fitter / Welding Operative / Weld Operative / MIG Welder / MIG Welding Technician / Fabricator / Fabrication Operative / Metal Worker / Arc Welder / Blacksmith / Foundry Process Operator / similar roles.
