Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Christchurch Hospital. This role involves working across multiple inpatient settings, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation wards. You will play a key role in helping patients regain independence, improve their functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct holistic patient assessments

Create and deliver personalised treatment plans

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team

Educate and support patients and families

Supervise junior staff and students

Maintain clear and timely clinical records

Contribute to service development

Provide flexible support across various care settings
Key Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.

HCPC registration.
-
Minimum 6 months of NHS experience, ideally within a general acute care setting.

Sound clinical knowledge in managing musculoskeletal, neurological, and general medical conditions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team working.

Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.

Evidence of continued professional development (CPD).

Experience supervising junior team members or students.

A flexible, proactive, and patient-focused mindset.
