As our Carpenter Multi Trader, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry tasks, alongside other general maintenance and repair duties, in response to urgent and planned requests. Your day-to-day will be varied and will require you to effectively diagnose issues and deliver timely and efficient solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking all aspects of carpentry work, including (but not limited to):
- Door repairs and replacements (including ironmongery)
- Window repairs and replacements
- Kitchen and bathroom fitting and repairs
- Flooring repairs and installations
- General joinery and maintenance
- Carrying out other multi-trade tasks as required, such as basic plumbing, plaster patching, painting and decorating.
- Accurately diagnosing faults and determining the most appropriate repair solutions.
- Working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety procedures.
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and colleagues.
- Accurately completing job reports and documentation.
- Maintaining and caring for company tools and equipment.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with demonstrable multi-trade abilities.
- Experience in a reactive maintenance environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
