- Assess the move-on accommodation needs of households in temporary accommodation.
- Support applicants with bidding strategies, private rented sector offers, and access to specialist housing.
- Ensure all placements comply with statutory requirements and council policies.
- Provide support to negotiate affordable rent levels where necessary.
- Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure timely use of available properties.
- Provide advice on income maximisation, debt management, and tenancy responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently.
- We are looking for a motivated individual with: Knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing law, and landlord-tenant regulations.
- Experience in housing allocations, casework, and customer support.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
