The Role:

You will act as the voice of the customer within the business-managing enquiries, resolving challenges, and ensuring projects run smoothly from initial contact to order fulfilment. With a strong focus on relationship building, you will oversee key customer accounts, liaising with internal departments to deliver tailored solutions that meet and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming customer enquiries via email, phone, and web, ensuring a timely and effective response.
  • Gather essential information to assess feasibility, generate quotations, and gain internal approvals.
  • Follow up quotations, handle technical queries, and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Oversee the contract review process and liaise with production to ensure delivery timelines are met.
  • Maintain ERP systems with accurate customer and product data (BoMs, routings, pricing).
  • Proactively manage relationships, resolve complaints, and support small-scale engineering changes.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service, Account Management, or Sales Support role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Highly numerate with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Confident working with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
