Robertson Bell are partnering with a Housing Association in the West Midlands to recruit a permanent Deputy Director of Finance. The organisation embrace staff development, treating tenants with the utmost importance and having high quality finance information. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing finance function, overseeing financial accounting, treasury, finance business partnering and procurement.
  • Working with the COO (a qualified accountant) to deliver on financial strategy and business planning.
  • Oversee statutory accounts, external audit processes, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure high quality business partnering is delivered throughout the organisation and that stakeholders are well informed and able to make commercial decisions.

Person Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant.
  • Previous experience working within social housing.
  • Experience in all aspects of finance (both management and financial accounting).
  • Strong communicator with the ability to motivate and develop finance teams.
