We're partnered with a leading tech business seeking a Lead Platform Test Engineer to drive quality across their digital platforms.

The Role

You'll lead QA strategy within a fast-growing engineering team, ensuring automation, performance, and quality practices are embedded throughout delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing technical depth with mentoring and stakeholder influence.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve automation frameworks with Playwright (TypeScript)
  • Drive performance engineering and testing (K6, JMeter) in CI/CD pipelines
  • Apply continuous inspection and automated reporting for visibility and improvement
  • Ensure compatibility testing (e.g. BrowserStack) is built into delivery
  • Champion exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to embed quality at every stage
