- Sales Support: Work with Area Sales Managers to build strong customer relationships and support sales targets.
- Customer Engagement: Attend client meetings to understand requirements and present suitable technical solutions.
- Technical Input: Provide pre-sales technical assistance, prepare accurate quotations, and produce supporting proposal documents.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Engineering and Sales teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Order Management: Track orders through to delivery and provide after-sales technical support.
- Exhibitions & Events: Represent the business at trade shows and industry events.
- Documentation: Prepare internal contracts and maintain detailed records throughout the sales process.
- Experience working with OEM clients.
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (qualification or equivalent experience).
- Confident reading engineering layout drawings.
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Previous experience in technical sales or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service ability.
- £35,000 base salary + commission based on profitability
