Are you an experienced and dedicated Primary Teacher ready for your next challenge? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Dudley is seeking a passionate Year 5 Class Teacher to join the team for the full academic year, starting September 2025.

About the Role:

This is a full class teacher role, responsible for the academic progress and pastoral care of a Year 5 class. You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
  • Mark work in accordance with the school’s policy
  • Track pupil progress and contribute to termly assessments
  • Attend and participate in parents’ evenings and school events
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

 

Job Requirements for this Teacher role:

• Must hold a valid Child Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
• Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a school setting
• Experience working with children or young people
• Ability to provide tailored support to meet individual student needs
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning styles
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and other staff
