Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a floating support worker on behalf of our client based in Frome and Shepton Mallet. As part of the role, the successful candidate will work closely with a small caseload of clients, building strong relationships through face-to-face engagement, breaking down barriers, and helping them access safe, stable accommodation. - Conduct needs and risk assessments
- Keeping client records accurate, clear, and up to date
- Maintaining regular contact with a small caseload of clients
- Advise and assist clients with budgeting
- Accompany clients to appointments
.Person Specification
- Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
- Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
Additional Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
- Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
- Ability to work within a rostered shift system, covering hours between 08:00 AM and 08:00 PM
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
