Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a floating support worker on behalf of our client based in the South West. As part of the role, the successful candidate will work closely with a small caseload of clients, building strong relationships through face-to-face engagement, breaking down barriers, and helping them access safe, stable accommodation. Every day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful difference in someone's life.Location: Covering Somerset, B&NES, North Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire & GloucesterHours: 37.5 hours per weekContract type: PermanentSalary: £27,810 per annumMain duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct needs and risk assessments
  • Keeping client records accurate, clear, and up to date
  • Maintaining regular contact with a small caseload of clients
  • Advise and assist clients with budgeting
  • Accompany clients to appointments

.Person Specification

  • Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
  • Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
  • Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
  • Ability to work within a rostered shift system, covering hours between 08:00 AM and 08:00 PM
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
