Reed are working exclusively with a fast-growing business with divisions in civil engineering and construction group. We are seeking a SHE Manager to play a crucial role in maintaining safety and compliance, ensuring the well-being of our teams and meeting client needs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Coordinate and manage Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality Assurance.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance SHEQ management systems.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legislation.
  • Provide support to project sites and assist site teams.
  • Prepare documentation and liaise with clients to fulfil SHEQ requirements.
  • Manage subcontractor evaluation and reviews.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines and assist in bid/tender qualifications.
  • Ensure compliance across sites in NI/ROI and take ownership of continual improvement across the business.
  • Responsible for ensuring staff training for upcoming works.
  • Perform additional duties as required to aid the continued success of the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management position.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a SHEQ position.
  • Essential construction experience.
  • NEBOSH or equivalent Level 4 Safety Qualification.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and liaison skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with clients and subcontractors.
