Job Title: Geo-Environmental Engineer

Salary: 30,000
A new opportunity has become available for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a specialist environmental contractor based in Durham, delivering both geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering and consultancy services.
This position is ideal for a junior Geo-Environmental Engineer with industry experience who is looking to further develop their technical skillset within a knowledgeable and supportive team. You will receive continued training and mentoring while working on a variety of technically challenging projects, including large-scale infrastructure and environmental schemes.
The role will involve working across a broad range of sectors, including transport, industrial, residential, commercial, and redevelopment projects. Key responsibilities will include site walkovers, ground investigations, geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments, factual and interpretive reporting, geotechnical analysis, risk assessments, and contributing to remediation strategies.

Essential Criteria:
- BSc in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a geotechnical or geo-environmental role
- Live within a commutable distance to the Durham office
- Full UK driving licence
