Our client is a leading manufacturer and service provider specialising in advanced heat transfer technology across a wide range of industries. They are recognised for their high-quality engineering solutions and commitment to innovation, safety, and reliability.

 

Purpose

To carry out assigned work to established quality standards and within required timeframes. To lead and support team members in delivering this work, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards at all times, including providing training where required. The role involves maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean working environment, ensuring equipment is serviceable and calibrated, and managing stock levels of consumables and parts to meet production needs. The postholder will also be responsible for maintaining accurate production records, both paper and electronic, and leading communication and improvement initiatives to enhance performance and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

Organising, motivating, and training team members to complete production tasks effectively

Identifying, recording, and resolving Health, Safety, and Environmental issues

Completing and maintaining production records

Requesting parts and consumables as required

Requesting equipment repairs, replacements, and calibrations

Updating communication cell data regularly

Leading 5S cleaning and housekeeping activities and reorganising work areas for improved efficiency

Arranging inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) examinations

Deputising for other Team Leaders and the Production Manager, including leading the main communication cell

Leading the resolution of quality, production, and customer communication issues, including preparing reports and photographic evidence

The role may also include any other reasonable duties as requested by the Company or Line Manager.
