Tutor

Tutor (Full or Part Time)
Sunderland
£25 - £30 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

A specialist team who provide education to the local authorities most vulnerable young people, are looking to appoint reliable Tutors to work in Sunderland on a 1:1 basis with students unable to access education.

Working in the community e.g. residential homes or foster care placements, the desired Tutor will be teaching Maths and English on 1:1 basis with students with SEND. This Home Tutor role is long term. Tuition sessions would be for around two - three hours per day (within school hours) depending on the student's needs.

Requirements

The desired Tutor will have:

• A teaching qualification

• Experience of working with pupils with SEND

• A passion for having a motivating impact on students and maintain focus

• An ability to build positive relationships with young people
