Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Sales Executive to join our team and drive the growth of our Health and Safety and HR team within commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and the ability to offer tailored solutions that meet client needs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify potential clients, build strong relationships, and close deals with businesses across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Working with internal client servicing teams to research and identify potential commercial clients in need of health and safety and HR services (e.g., risk assessments, safety training, compliance audits, HR outsourcing).
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.
- Qualify leads by understanding client pain points, business challenges, and health and safety needs.
Client Consultation and Needs Assessment:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their specific health, safety, and HR
challenges, including compliance with industry regulations
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to tailor services that address the client’s specific requirements, ensuring comprehensive safety and HR solutions.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers within organizations (HR Directors, Operations Managers, Safety Officers, etc.).
- Clearly explain service offerings such as policies, documents, employee training, risk assessments, compliance audits, and HR support, and how they meet the client’s needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, product demonstrations, and presentations to close sales.
Closing Sales:
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, within set parameters, ensuring alignment with their budgets and business goals.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, handling objections, and facilitating smooth deal closures.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of contracts, agreements, and necessary documentation.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven sales experience (3+ years) in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and HR processes would be an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet sales targets.
