Role Overview

The Head of Digital Marketing is a brand-new, high-impact role created to give digital marketing its own strategic leadership. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and own a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that drives growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Digital Innovation: Identify opportunities to transform our digital ecosystem, leveraging emerging technologies and trends.
  • Platform & UX Excellence: Oversee the optimisation of websites, apps, and digital touchpoints to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion a data-first culture, using insights to inform strategy and improve performance.
  • Performance & ROI: Monitor KPIs and deliver measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, and channel optimisation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a talented digital team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
  • Budget & Agency Management: Manage digital budgets and key agency relationships to ensure maximum value and impact.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior digital marketing leadership role with a track record of delivering successful digital strategies.
  • Expertise across the full digital marketing mix including SEO, PPC, CRO, content, social, and CRM.
  • Strong understanding of AI in digital marketing and its potential to enhance performance.
  • Experience managing complex digital ecosystems, budgets, and third-party agencies.
  • Highly data-literate, with deep knowledge of analytics tools (GA4, SEMRush, etc.).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ideally, experience in travel, tourism, or B2C sectors.
