School Site Manager¦ Eastbourne¦£30,500 - £37,000 per annum¦Full TimeThis school is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for its students. They are looking for a dedicated and proactive School Site Manager to ensure the facilities are maintained to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Ensure the premises are consistently safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Supervise the site team, including cleaners, caretakers, and contractors.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify and address maintenance and safety issues.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance work to minimise disruption to school activities.
- Manage the school's security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, health and safety checks, and compliance documentation.
- Support the school during emergency situations, including fire drills and evacuations.
- Assist with the setup of school events and activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an education setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
