- Collect arrears, service charges, ground rents, and major works recharges in line with set targets.
- Scrutinise Section 20 consultations, ensuring statutory compliance and maximising income recovery.
- Review and audit service charges, liaising with finance to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Prepare service charge reports and statistical information for managers.
- Manage sinking fund collection and expenditure where applicable.
- Lead on the full debt recovery process, preparing legal documentation and representing the organisation at hearings.
- Support the development of service charge frameworks for new leasehold and shared ownership schemes.
- Strong knowledge of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 and the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
- Experience in social housing, leasehold, or residential lettings management.
- Confidence in applying leasehold law, including service charges, consents, enfranchisement, and lease extensions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience representing cases at the First Tier Tribunal is highly desirable.
- CIH or RPM qualification (or willingness to work towards this).
- Full UK driving licence or ability to travel efficiently to attend meetings.
