Our client, a prominent company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and meet the demands of the Weld/Fab shop
- Work accurately and efficiently to drawings, ensuring high standards of work
- Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks proficiently
- Ensure a full understanding of health and safety requirements and responsibilities within the BSI 45001 Health & Safety management system
- Promote and conduct good health and safety practices consistently
- Maintain good housekeeping routines to keep plant and equipment in good working order
- Conduct operator quality control to uphold high standards
- Experience in aluminium TIG welding
- Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to work to technical drawings accurately and meet high standards
- Understanding of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to be flexible and enthusiastic about the role
- Permanent position
- Work within a busy but friendly factory environment
- Opportunity to ensure operator quality control
- Consistent Monday to Friday work schedule from 07:30 to 16:30
