Our client a legal company are looking for a switched on and experienced Senior Legal Administrator to join their growing team.
The role is to provide cost effective administrative support across the business. Support a team of administration specialists to plan, oversee and complete a range of administrative duties to the highest standard. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing ways to enhance current administrative processes, policies, systems and services. Deliver meaningful management information and data to measure process/team performance and to promote operational efficiency in all areas of administration for the firm.
Senior Legal Administrator Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative procedures/systems. Devise ways to streamline processes to ensure optimal efficiency in areas, including:
- Deputise in overseeing a team of administration and compliance specialists – manage departmental meetings, 1-2-1’s and appraisal reviews when manager is absent
- Feedback on team member performance, assist in setting targets, provide coaching and guidance for continued development of junior team members
- Demonstrate exceptional delivery, best in class client/stakeholder care and develop strong internal relations with all departments you service
- Promote a team culture of being client focused, dynamic and self-sufficient with a readiness to adapt to the changing/conflicting needs of fee earners and others you support
- Manage team data and generate KPI reports to the business as required
- Take a lead in overseeing, reviewing and updating documentation of all Admin Department processes, procedures and workflows
- Oversee operations within the Admin Department to ensure adherence to policies and regulations outlined in the Lexcel management framework
Senior Legal Administrator Specification:
- To have experience in an admin supervisory role?within a law firm
- Firm understanding of legal administrative and compliance related processes
- A strong and personable team player with a proven track record in overseeing people and processes
- Exceptional organisational and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
