Amplifi Talent are partnering with an established and high-performing company based in Edinburgh to recruit a Tax Manager on a permanent basis.

Role Overview:
Based at modern offices in Edinburgh, this is a hands-on finance role that requires an individual with commitment and drive.The main focus will be to ensure tax related compliance is achieved, relevant deadlines are met and ensuring best practice is followed in all areas of tax, with support from external professional advisors where required.
Responsibilities include:
- Collating data from the Finance team for corporation tax provisions & computations, managing queries from external advisors, and reviewing returns prior to submission
- Management of corporation tax group payment arrangement and quarterly payments on account
- Review, production and submission of the monthly Group VAT return
- Review of monthly CIS returns and follow up of queries with Finance & Commercial teams
- Completing Senior Accounting Officer review for sign off by Group Finance Director
- Responding to tax related queries from the senior management team and the wider business, with support from external advisors where required
- Keeping the company up to date with changes in tax legislation and monitoring tax risks
Preferred Background:
- Applicants must hold an accountancy (ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA) or tax qualification (ATT/CIOT)
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with strong inter-personal skills
- The ability to work well with teams at all levels across the business
- Previously working in tax in public practice or industry
