About The Job:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring that every aspect of property management is handled with excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

Property Operations Management:

  • Lead day-to-day property management activities, focusing on tenant relations, property maintenance, and financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with the property management team, contractors, tenants, and landlords to ensure top-notch service delivery.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and optimal condition.

Landlord and Tenant Relations:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with tenants and landlords by proactively addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insightful reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and handle legal matters, including evictions and lease disputes.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor and train property management staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages high performance and retention.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of property management, including residential and commercial leases.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting expertise.
  • Familiarity with Scottish property management laws and regulations.
